It features a fine rattan weave on the top, which immediately brings a relaxed, casual elegance to your home.
The manufacturing process of this table is the most elaborate craftsmanship: in order to make the thick rattan fibres flexible, they have to be soaked in water for one night and then heated strongly shortly before processing. This is why this material is used less frequently than wood, for example - but the result is definitely something to be proud of.

Our tables are made from plant fibers. They therefore wonderfully smell and feel like nature.
Rattan palms tend to grow in large numbers in dense forests, where they are considered invasive plants, taking up space from other plants and drawing many nutrients from the soil. The stems, which grow back quickly without any chemical additives, must be cut off regularly and can then be used as material for furniture and baskets after the drying process. This makes rattan an extremely sustainable and abundantly available material.

When selecting our local producers, we value fair pay and good working conditions. In the factories from which we purchase our goods, we only work with adult and experienced artisans. No harmful chemicals are used in the manufacturing process. Since all work steps are done by hand, the production process hardly generates any greenhouse gas emissions. We ensure all of this through regular on-site visits and permanent personal contact with the companies.
